MacLeod Retirement Communities was established in 1951 and is family owned and operated. There are three properties that encompass MacLeod Retirement Communities; MacLeods’s, Lakewood, Riverhaven. We are a 55 and over active community centrally located on the east end of Long Island and the Gateway to the Hamptons. Our locations are near renowned golf courses, beaches, marinas, restaurants, and fishing. MacLeod’s is bordered by a 2,000 acre State Park for a serene and quiet environment. Our communities host events such as Bocce/Shuffle Board tournaments, Sunday Brunches, Holiday parties, Beach parties, Bar B-Q’s, and garden parties, to name a few. In addition, we encourage pets weighing 40 lbs or less.
